Description

The arced, rectangular, reeded case decorated with the cipher of King Edward VII applied with red and green enamel and accented by rose diamonds, signed Clark 33. New Bond St., maker's mark, British hallmarks for gold, date letter for 1903, fitted case stamped Clark.

Princess Eudoxia of Bulgaria (1898-1985)

Edward VII, King of the United Kingdom (1841-1910) presented this cigarette case to Ferdinand I, Tsar of Bulgaria (1861-1948). When the latter passed away it was inherited by his eldest daughter Princess Eudoxia of Bulgaria (1898-1985).
