Description

of massive form cast in relief with the head of a lion holding a fluted ring in his gaping jaws, with bared teeth, protruding tongue, deeply grooved whiskers, wrinkled nose, engraved irises, small rounded ears, and gnarled and notched brow, the vigorously modelled unruly mane pierced with iron attachment rivets.
