rectangular with rounded corners, the lid decorated with a classically dressed seated female figure, a lamb to her right and a bird on her left hand, on a reeded ground, flanked by engraved flower bands within reeding, the sides similarly decorated, the base centred with a hexagonal cartouche chased and engraved with a flower and a crossed sheaf of wheat, on a horizontally and vertically reeded ground, Hanau cog wheel mark only
