吳湖帆 (1894-1968)

款識：
公肅兄今年三十，屬偉士姊丈索寫梅花小景。適有乾隆時舊楮，并新得金冬心畫梅小幀，題曰：「以玉樓人口脂與畫眉螺黛寫之，覺春光撩亂于几案間也。」余乃餘煤賸赭草草成之，自不可與冬心同語矣，聊當壽意云爾。甲戌二月。吳湖帆。

「吳湖颿」、「醜簃詞境」、「雙修閣」、「某景書屋」。

註：從題跋可知本幅乃徐偉士代友索畫，湖帆先生遂寫梅花小景應
之。徐偉士與吳湖帆同就讀於蘇州草橋學舍，亦為校內文學社團「放
社」成員，彼此常有過從，後更娶湖帆胞姊，故稱曰「姊丈」。從同窗
之誼，復締結為姻親，關係更形密切，湖帆極疼愛甥女徐玥，收為入
室弟子，一直照顧有加，寫贈精品極多，可見吳徐兩家親誼之久長矣。

畫中疏枝綴玉，非萬點盈梢，此亦畫家雖新得金農畫梅小幀，卻未取
其「春光繚亂」之景象，反採宋人畫法圖之，故清逸雅淡，且用乾隆舊
楮，發色更呈古樸韻味。以此賀公肅三十整壽，喻「眉壽」之意，足見
用心。
