the rectangular gilt-tooled tan leather inset top with removable reading ledge and ribbon- and rosette-carved edge, ratcheting above a foliate-carved frieze, on angled square-section stop-fluted legs, joined by a partial in-curved undertier with pierced fret gallery and pierced brackets, on shaped block feet, with a replacement additional larger detachable reading ledge
