On loan to the Ackland Art Center, Chapel Hill, North Carolina

Although previously attributed to a follower of Vasari, the style of the figures suggests the drawing is closer to Salviati. In composition, however, it shows the influence of Vasari's battle scenes in the Palazzo Vecchio. The black chalk framing lines on the sheet may indicate that this was intended for a book illustration rather than a large-scale work.
