Ils attendent the Captain Cook is one of eight compositions created in 1953 by Félix Labisse to decorate the first class dining room of the Paquebot Laos. Imagining colourful panoramic landscapes, the painter created a dreamlike world in eight panels that offered a magical journey beyond the maritime cruise.
