grisaille painted enamel on copper, with gilt highlights, in an ebonised wood frame

the scene inscribed: PRSSUS INIOPS RERUM IMMAT / VRIS FRUGIBUS UTOR ESFICIT / HOC FENUS PUGNORA NOSTRA / FERES

the reverse numbered: VIII, and with an old label inscribed: 4069
