The rendering of the hair bears some resemblance to mid 5th century B.C. sculpture; compare the head of Myron’s Athena: https://arachne.dainst.org/entity/1065584. Greywacke was used for two copies of a male head type from that period: arachne.dainst.org/entity/566252; arachne.dainst.org/entity/566250.
