Freddie Mercury’s Acoustic Guitar , Circa Late 1960s-Early 1970s


A circa 1960s/1970s acoustic guitar, (maker unknown), no serial number, in natural finish, laminate back and side in red, painted headstock in red with black triangular truss-rod cover, zero fret, twenty fret fingerboard with no markers, bound sound hole, rosewood pin bridge, angular imitation tortoise shell pickguard and open back tuners with the D string button missing; in black vinyl guitar bag – very little is known about this guitar but its notable that it dates from the late 1960s - early 1970s and appears to have been in Freddie’s possession for over two decades
