Set of oak, brass and pewter inlay dining chairs designed by George Montague Ellwood and made by J.S. Henry, London.
- Sold as a set of 10.
- Comprising two armchairs and eight side chairs.

Condition Report
Very GoodThe wooden surfaces present with scattered scratches, nicks and indentations concentrated throughout the chairs and especially visible on the upper edges of the backrests.
The inlays are in fine condition, with one gilt metal heart missing from the center of one chair.
The chairs with some minor chipping to the wood surface, most visible in the area surrounding the upholstery.
The chairs have been sensitively and professionally reupholstered and edged in brass tacks.
One chair back with an area of wood glue, only visible upon close inspection. One armchair with chip to wood measuring approximately 1/2 an inch on the proper right armrest; the other armchair with loss to finish on both armrests, in keeping with age and gentle use.
Seven of the ten chairs present with slight movement, but are overall stable.
