A George III mahogany, mirrored and glazed wall-lantern, circa 1760, together with a matching lantern of later date

 

the fret-carved crestings with arched mirrored backs, the hinged door with moulded and shaped top rail, the bowed glazed front enclosing an associated electrified brass candlestick, with shaped apron

60.5cm. high, 25.5cm. wide, 21cm. deep; 1ft. 11 13/16in., 10 1/16in., 8 1/4in.

The 18th century example acquired from Ronald Phillips Ltd, London.
