An Urbino istoriato two-handled circular cistern raised on a spreading circular foot, workshop of Orazio Fontana, circa 1565-1571
of gadrooned campana form, the handles with bifurcated fish tail terminals, the exterior painted with an extensive landscape with mountains in the distance, the interior painted with Neptune and tritons riding hippocampi alongside dolphins and attendants, buildings and a mountainous landscape in the background, raised on a spreading circular foot
the underside with two red sealing-wax collection marks with the arms of a Cardinal
