The Reference 5712 Nautilus was introduced in 2006 in commemoration of the sport watch's 30th anniversary. The classic sport design was updated with an attractive asymmetrical dial detailing a power reserve, a date, and a moon phase indication. The model stood as the most complicated Nautilus wristwatch until the 2018 launch of the Reference 5740, a perpetual calendar wristwatch with moon phases.
