In Japan, this 5-card set was released as a promotional set and was available as part of a collaboration between the Pokémon Company and the Munch: A Retrospective Exhibition held at the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum between October 27, 2018, and January 20, 2019. The illustration draws inspiration from Edvard Munch's The Scream, the 1910 version (tempera on cardboard) of which was displayed in Japan for the first time as part of the exhibition. Pikachu was distributed to visitors of the exhibition during Pokémon Week, which ran from December 10 until 16, 2018. The card was limited to 1 card per person. The remaining characters Psyduck, Eevee, Mimikyu and Rowlet were available for purchase during the exhibition period, limited to 1 card per person.

在日本，此一組五張的集換式卡牌為精靈寶可夢公司應東京都美術館於2018年10月27日至2019年1月20日舉辦的「愛德華·孟克回顧展」而聯乘出版的宣傳卡組。卡組的圖畫靈感原汁孟克的名作《吶喊》（1910年版本）。當時為該作品首展日本。展覽訪客每人在寶可夢週（2018年12月10至16日）獲派發比卡超卡一張。卡組其餘人物則在展覽期間公開發售，每人限購一張。
