With the Réveil du Tsar, launched in 2003, Breguet introduced two new patents through their new caliber 519F: the first for the column-wheel mechanism that locks or activates the alarm, the second one for the device that co-ordinates the alarm with the local time. This elegant and complicated masterpiece takes its name from Tsar Alexander I of Russia, among the ranks of esteemed and honorable Breguet collectors.
The present lot is offered with its original accessories including the Breguet Certificate of Origin and Warranty as well as its presentation case.
