Leading Highlights

Stored at this state-of-the-art-facility in Tokyo since acquisition, these lots are offered from Burgundy's most legendary producers with extraordinary provenance, given the strong links between the region's most iconic producers and the Japanese market. This collection showcases a dazzling array of icons from both sides of the Atlantic. Highlights from Burgundy include almost 50 lots of wines from DRC spanning 3 decades, such as La Tâche 1990 &amp; 2009, and Romanée-Conti 2001 &amp; 2008. Over 23 lots of Domaine Leroy / d’Auvenay are featured, including Richebourg 2005, Musigny 2007 and Chambertin 2009, along with Chevalier Montrachet 2001 and Criots-Bâtard-Montrachet 2006. Other Burgundy producers are just as alluring, including Henri Jayer's Cros Parantoux 1988 &amp; 1990, Domaine du Comte Liger-Belair La Romanee 2013 and Domaine Leflaive Montrachet 2002 &amp; 2004. Other French highlights include a trio of top estates in Bordeaux from the great 2016 vintage, Lafite, Mouton Rothschild, and Le Pin, and an ultra-rare limited edition of Cristal Brut Gold Medallion 2003 Jeroboam. Finally, benchmarks from California consist of Screaming Eagle spanning from 1998 to 2012 and a Harlan 1991 Magnum.

Offered from the cellar of a leading Australian wine connoisseur, over a century of Bordeaux's greatest names are on offer, from vintages spanning 1904-2019, including Lafite 1924, 1926, 1928, 1937, 1947 and 1959, all of which have been recently recorked and released by the estate. Parcel quantities of the iconic 1982 vintage are also included. On the Right Bank, original cases of Le Pin, Petrus, and Vieux Chateau Certan are featured, alongside more than 10 cases of L'If 2010, the inaugural vintage of this iconic garagiste property from Jacques Thienpont. From Burgundy, various DRC Grand Crus from the spectacular 2015 vintage are presented, as well as ready to drink bottles from Comte Georges de Vogüé and Mugnier. Last but not least, we find parcels of 1999 Vega Siciliar Unico and Reserve Especial 1999 Release. Part of a much larger collection, the majority of these wines were purchased on release or directly from the estates, and have been professionally stored in a temperature-controlled warehouse for their full life.
