Description

Comprising: a pocket watch, the case decorated with the red and blue enamelled cipher of Ferdinand I, Tsar of Bulgaria, Austrian import mark for gold, fitted case stamped Friedrich Baumann; a watchchain spectacle-set with various oval gemstones including a sapphire, ruby, emerald, amethyst, citrine and aquamarine, length approximately 420mm; a locket, the lid decorated with a heart set with a pear-shaped emerald within a border of rose diamonds opening to reveal a lock of hair, on a loop-in-loop chain, inscribed Glaube, Liebe, Hoffnung and den 24ten. Juli 1863, partial Austrian maker’s and assay marks; a brushed gold letter opener decorated with a fleur-de-lys set with an oval sapphire and rose diamonds, to a silk tassel, inscribed Sempre! and a royal cipher; and a hammered gold Swiss knife set with a cabochon sapphire.
