Comprising: an arced rectangular case engraved Charlotte, German assay mark for silver, pouch stamped Charlotte; a reeded rectangular case decorated with the combined cipher of Johann Georg, Prince of Saxony and Isabella, Duchess of Württemberg, German maker’s and assay marks; a square case, the lid applied with red guilloché enamel, decorated with the cipher of King Wilhelm II of Württemberg, German assay mark for silver; a gunmetal case decorated with a white and red enamelled Maltese cross centering the Habsburg crest; an arced square silver case engraved with a coat of arms and the name Eugen in facsimile handwriting, signed J.W. Brooke, maker’s mark for Georg Adam Scheid, German and Austrian assay marks for silver; an arced silver case engraved with the Württemberg crest, maker’s mark, British hallmarks for silver, date letter for 1890; a reeded silver case with match compartment and wick decorated with the Saxon Royal crest, the interior inscribed Ernst Albrecht, maker’s mark for Georg Adam Scheid, Austrian assay marks for silver; and a square case decorated with the Archangel Michael, engraved beschutzt, signed Franz Hiess u. Söhne Wien, Austrian maker’s and assay mark for silver; partially illustrated.
