turned to her left, her centrally parted wavy hair bound in a fillet, swept back over the ears, and bound together at the back of the head.

 

Height 24 cm.

European private collection, 17th/18th Century (based on restoration techniques)

Japanese private collection, acquired at the Schweizerische Kunst- und Antiquitätenmesse, Basel, March 20th-29th, 1981, probably from Pino Donati Arte Classica (Lugano)

by descent to the present owner from the above
