Piaget's 21st Century Collection was produced for only five years from 1969. During this short period, an array of exciting playful textures, designs and coloured dials were used including coral, malachite and lapis lazuli.
The effect in this lot is both impressive and attractive. The malachite pieces look like precious gemstones and create a rhythm that is perfectly offset by the sculpted yellow gold, high raised links. It is not only a watch, it is also a beautiful piece of avant-garde jewellery.
