with squab seat cushions, decoration refreshed, together with a similar Regency style parcel-gilt blue and grey painted armchair, re-decorated
Condition
A decorative group in reasonable condition. Ebonised pair: Chips and losses to parcel-gilt and painted surface, which has been refreshed in areas. Evidence of repaired breaks to armrests and backs, notably to pierced splats. Minor filler restorations. Re-caned. Cushions are worn and dirty with watermarks. Grey painted chair: Decoration apparently later and generally in good order. Cushion with splits and will need replacing. Re-caned.
