Alphonse Mucha arrives in Paris in 1887. He enrolls at the Colarossi Academy in 1888. In 1892, the year our drawing was created, he starts giving drawing lessons at the Colarossi Academy. The young man in our drawing might be one of his pupils. We would like to thank the Mucha foundation for authenticating this work. A certificate will be delivered to the purchaser.
