The canvas is strip-lined. There is a uneven varnish preventing UV light from fully penetrating, however examination under UV light appears to reveal a few lines of retouching along the extreme edges, notably along the left edge, and a few minor small dots of retouching along the extreme edges, most predominately to the upper right corner. There is some stable paint shrinkage in areas, notably in the black and deep green pigments. There are a few minor flyspots in places and a few superficial scratches in areas, notably towards the centre of the upper part of the composition. This work is in overall good condition and could benefit from a light clean.
