Condition

The canvas is not lined. There are faint vertical stretcher bar marks running down the centre of the composition. UV inspection reveals a few very thin strokes of retouching along the top edge and to the centre of the sky. There are a few thin strokes of retouching that correspond with the stretcher bar marks. There is stable hairline craquelure in the sky and in the water. The work is in overall good condition.
