Condition
The canvas is not lined. Examination under UV light reveals a layer of milky varnish preventing the UV light from fully penetrating, however, there are some minor scattered flecks of retouching visible to the composition, most prominent to the upper and lower left corners. There is a tiny paint loss to the left most apricot in the foreground. There is some very fine lines of craquelure to the background of the upper right quadrant. There is some undulation to the centre of the left edge and to the lower right corner due to the laying down process. There is a flattened diagonal crease approx. 3cm long running in from the left part of the lower edge. This work is in overall good condition.
