Condition
The canvas is not lined. Examination under UV light reveals a horizontal line of retouching to the first floor window of the house to the left of the composition, as well as two minor spots of retouching to the foreground and close to lower edge. There is a dent to the canvas in the upper left quadrant. There are some lines of craquelure to the upper part of the left edge. There are two faint horizontal marks along the centre of the lower edge, as well as the right part to the upper edge. This work is in overall good condition and may benefit from a gentle clean.
