Condition
The canvas is not lined. There is frame abrasion along all four edges. Near the center of the right edge there is an area of pigment loss measuring half an inch in length. Near the center of the left edge there is a vertical area of pigment loss measuring one inch in length. In the area of thickest pigment there is some very minor hairline craquelure. Under UV inspection, there are strokes of inpainting along all four edges, most notably along the left and bottom edges likely to address frame abrasion. There are strokes of inpainting in the aforementioned areas of pigment losses. Some other original pigments fluoresce. This painting is in good condition.
