Condition

Executed on cream laid paper. The sheet is mounted to a window mat so that both sides are visible. All four edges are deckled. There is a tear across the lower right corner of the sheet. An additional tear measuring one inch in length to the right edge. There is a uniform mat stain to all four edges, likely the result of an acidic mount. There are some scattered spots of foxing throughout. Some minor studio staining to the background of the composition. The medium is well preserved. According to Joachim Pissarro, the expert for Pissarro works on paper, the work has been retouched by another hand in some locations. This work is in good condition.
