The canvas is unlined. The canvas is slightly dirty and would benefit from a cleaning. There is a slight undulation to the canvas. There is frame abrasion to the left and top edges. There are fine lines of craquelure to the blue pigments of the sky, just below the sun. Under UV light: Strokes of inpainting along the top, bottom and right edges. Scattered strokes of inpainting are present in the water and coast line, as well as a single 1/2 inch. spot of inpainting above the sun. A vertical line of inpainting is present to the center right of the canvas, measuring approximately six inches in length. This work is in overall good condition.
