RUBY AND DIAMOND BRACELET, EARLY 20TH CENTURY COMPOSITE

The centre collet-set with a sugarloaf cabochon ruby weighing approximately 4.80 carats, to a bracelet composed of graduated square links set with cushion-shaped and oval diamonds, length approximately 160mm.

Accompanied by GCS report no. 79206-57, dated 10th April 2019, stating that the ruby weighing approximately 4.80 carats is of Burmese origin, no indications of heating. Diamonds mixed colours and clarities, estimated total weight approximately 7.00 - 9.00 carats. Ruby with surface-reaching inclusions and some areas of resultant chipping and cavities. Ruby measures approximately 9.0 x 7.5 x 6.4mm, possibly a later addition. Some unevenness to linking. Overall in good condition, gross weight approximately 17.7 grams.
