Condition
The canvas appears to have been lined. There are areas of fine craquelure pattern visible on close inspection. The paint surface appears slightly thin in areas. Otherwise the work appears to be in fair condition. UV light inspection reveals some infilling and minor flecked retouchings throughout. More accurate reading is obscured by a layer of opaque varnish. Held in a plain gilt frame and slip.
