Condition

Surface dirt throughout the surface, notably in the crevices, due to outside exposure. A few chips are visible to the high points in some places and along the edges of the base, consistent with age and handling. Remnants of an old green bronze patina are visible throughout the surface. A few larger losses are visible along the lower edge of the bases. A loss is visible to the paw of the proper right rear leg of one lion. Both upper canine teeth of both lions are missing and a few other teeth are partly missing. The tip of the tail is partly missing on one lion and the other one with a reattached element visible to the back of the tail.
