Condition
Good overall condition, consistent with age and use. The wooden top presents with some hairline cracks and a few rare and very tiny chips and dents, inherent to the aging process of the various wood timber and partially visible on the catalogue illustration. Some cracks appears to have been previously stabilized and/or slightly infilled. Along the outer edges of the top, some previous small infills (to light cracks, minute dents or minute irregularities) have darkened over time, as partially visible in the catalogue illustration. The wooden base presents with a few tiny dents and cracks, more significant on the palmwood and inherent to the aging process of this material. Some of the cracks on the palmwood have been previously infilled. The shagreen of the top presents with a few instances of light darkening and a few tiny losses, not visually distracting. The shagreen of the base presents with some cracks - visible in the catalogue illustration and inherent to the aging process of the material - some of them have been previously stabilized and slightly infilled. The ivory elements have turned very slightly yellow overtime and presents with some hairline cracks, inherent to the aging process. There are two thin losses of ivory along the points of ther star on the top, not visually distracting. A few mother-of-pearls elements present with hairline cracks and a few very tiny losses.
