Condition
Good overall condition. The shade presents with some light surface scratches and some tiny scuffs to the paint. There are a few very tiny losses of paint, a few tiny indentations and a few rare tiny paint stains. The white paint presents with soiling, craquelures and instances of wear. The stem and legs might have been repainted at a later time. The paint presents with some flaws and with some chips revealing the original colour of the metal, as partially visible in the catalogue illustration. The brass presents with some adhesive remnants and with some instances of oxidation. All consistent with age and use. Sotheby's does not guarantee electrical components and suggests having all wiring inspected by a licensed electrician.
