My artworks existed even before I did, but no one saw them because they were right in front of them.
The street, a scene for improvisation and chance is also a place of memory and remembrance. In this "optic", torn posters enable words and pictures to reverse directions. They are a visual play on the readability of signs, photographs, slogans, once they are torn to pieces, attached and then peeled off. Here, the motifs have almost completely disappeared: only colourful stains remain, snippets of words, and the rusty metal background. However, this does not enable the poster to become an abstract painting: it is an undefined plane where glued pieces of paper float. The framing effect, thanks to the metal structure, is sufficient to outline an interactive area dedicated to the eyes, the spirit and imagination.
