Condition
Overall in very good condition. The epoxy stone has been professionally cleaned and presents with a few occasional surface irregularities in the stone and faint color variations inherent in the material. The upper section of the proper right, front foot with a thin hairline crack that has been professionally stabilized and is only visible upon close inspection. The proper left, front foot with a small chip above the hoof on the inner surface of the leg measuring approximately ¾ inch wide and not visually distracting. The bronze elements have been professionally waxed to bring out the richness of the patina. When viewed firsthand, the bronze presents with a slightly warmer hue compared to the catalogue illustration. The bronze is in very good condition with scattered surface scratches and minor abrasions that are typical with age. This lovely, small-scale example of goes hand-in-hand with other Lalanne epoxy "Moutons" from the 1997 series (lots 8 and 9) and is suitable for indoor or outdoor use
