Condition
Overall very good condition. The glazed surfaces with scattered minor surface irregularities inherent to the production and not visually distracting. The edge of the foot with a few scattered very small abrasions to the glaze, only visible upon close inspection, including a minor loss to the glazed surface to the left of the electrical cord outlet measuring approximately 3/8 inches long. The shade with some light surface staining and discoloration, not visually distracting. The present lamp is a wonderful example of Jean Besnard's ceramic work. Sotheby's does not guarantee electrical components and suggests having all wiring inspected by a licensed electrician.
