拍品資料及來源
FIRST EDITION of a collection of articles by Jacquin and his contemporaries, among whom Franz Xavier von Wulfen is especially important for his two botanical and mineralogical articles on the region of Karnten (Carinthia) in southeastern Austria near the border of the Carnio Alps. It is generally thought that Jakob Adam executed the plates although only three are signed by him; Adam was a Viennese engraver and draughtsman, known for his small portraits of the royal family and other Austrian worthies. A second series of articles of Miscellanea in larger format, known as the Collectanea Austriaca, began in 1786 and continued through 1796.
