depicting a stalking tiger in a bamboo grove, the head turned back and the bulging eyes focused below bushy white brows, with leafy bamboo to either side, mounted on brocade.

Condition

In overall good condition with appropriate signs of age and use including scattered minor cracks and lifting (especially along the panels' edges), minor consolidated cracks and losses to paper (especially by the rear proper right paw) light craquelure to the oil painted areas. Please note the reverse not examined. Please also note that the correct measurements for the screen are height overall 56 in.; width 56 in; 142 cm; 142 cm.
