PAIR OF PEARL AND DIAMOND PENDANT-EARRINGS, GHISO

The two drop-shaped pearls measuring approximately 13.3 x 8.4 x 8.2 mm and 11.6 x 8.2 x 7.7 mm, suspended from tiered foliate caps set with rose-cut diamonds, separated by seed pearls, signed Ghiso; circa 1915.

In very good condition, minor wear to the metalwork commensurate with age, minute amount of yellow gold (possibly solder) at the joints of the top sections. Metal tests for platinum with 18 karat gold posts and hexagonal locking backs. Pearls are of light cream to white body color, smooth skins, moderate to high luster, minor to moderately strong rosé orient. The rose-cut and round diamonds weighing approximately 0.65 carat, approximately G-I in color, VS-I clarity. Measuring approximately 1½ inches in length. Gross weight approximately 6 dwts. Accompanied by a GIA report no. 2195220049 stating that the two drop-shaped pearls are natural, saltwater origin. Please note that the remaining pearls have not been tested for natural origin.
