the rounded body rising from a splayed foot to a long neck and gently flared rim, the exterior painted with leafy floral blooms and fruits, butterflies and other auspicious emblems, the curved spout similarly decorated with foliates 

The ewer has two restored chips to the rim (approx. 0.2 x 2 cm each), and minor fritting to the spout. The neck has been reattached. There are minor kiln imperfections including two small areas of glaze inconsistencies to the foot, a slightly uneven base, and minor burst bubbles and iron spots in some areas.
