TWO LARGE MODELS FROM A NOW DEFUNCT NASA PROGRAM The Constellation Program was a manned spaceflight program—now cancelled—that ran from 2005 to 2009. The goals of the program were completion of the International Space Station and a return to the Moon no later than 2020. It's ultimate aim, however, was to send a crewed flight to Mars. The vehicles were named after the Greek God Ares (the Roman equivalent being Mars).
