Condition
The board appears sound. The mount has been adhered to the surface of the Artist's board. There may be light surface dirt but otherwise appears to be in excellent overall condition. Inspection under ultra violet light reveals no obvious signs of fluorescence or retouching. The work is held behind glass within a gilt frame and cream mount. The mount exhibits evidence of time staining. Please telephone the department on +44 (0) 207 293 6424 if you have any questions regarding the present work.
