素漆盒以白銅為飾者，欲仿嵌螺鈿之視效，實為罕珍。可比較一元代黑漆嵌白銅長方盒，以白銅作邊飾，售於香港蘇富比2007年4月8日，編號754。

本品黃銅鑲邊作鏤空裝飾，髹黑漆嵌白銅，色彩對比鮮明，別開生面。白銅多作家具配件，可見一明末黃花梨六屜箱之面葉及包邊，售於香港蘇富比2016年10月5日，編號3008。
