Condition
The panel is in good order. There are very minor abrasions along all four edges with isolated flecks of paint loss. There is a very fine pattern of craquelure in the lower right corner, with another area of fine vertical cracks to the right of the ship. There are minor scuff marks below the mountains and in the lower right corner. Just visible in places are fine surface scratches. Inspection under UV light reveals minor areas of retouching to the right and bottom edges and to the corners as well as further very minor spots of retouching to the sea and the sky. Held in a gilt wooden frame. Unexamined out of frame.
