Condition

In overall reasonable condition. Minor old marks, brass liftings and scratches throughout, consistent with age and use. One key. Top: Two noticeable brass liftings, at each back corner; edge near back left corner with one minor brass loss, back edge with one brass loss (about 6cm. long); front and back borders with construction cracks and scattered brass losses to leaves Front: With scattered minor losses to tortoiseshell surface (especially to edges on either sides of the top drawer) and brass, liftings to brass (especially around the lower keyhole), egg and dart style frieze at the top with one screw missing however the gilt-bronze mount is securely fixed. Left side: One brass lifting towards the top left central frame and one loss to the bottom right corner (8cm long) Right side: One minor loss to the bottom right (about 1cm x 1cm) Despite some of the minor liftings and losses, this table is decorative and of good appearance.
