Condition
The canvas has not been lined and could benefit from some surface cleaning. Inspection under ultra-violet light reveals a thick layer of residual varnish and some minor spots and lines of cosmetic retouching, including one spot in the elbow of the sitting man to the left. Otherwise, this work is in overall good condition. Presented in a decorative gilt frame.
