The first, drypoint with handcoloring, 1961, signed in pencil, dated and numbered 10/10, on Rives wove paper, framed, the second, lithograph in pink and purple, 1963, signed in pencil, dated, titled and inscribed 'proof', a proof aside from the numbered edition of 20, on Crisbook handmade paper, with the blindstamp of the printer, ULAE, West Islip, New York, framed (2 prints)
Condition
The prints are in generally good condition, the full sheets. The first sheet with a few tiny tears and dents at the sheet edges, two repaired tears at upper right and left edges, and traces of surface soiling, recto and verso. (Two soft creases in the lower left sheet corner.) The verso with a few minuscule fox marks. The second sheet with faint light-stain and time-stain at the right edge. (Two inconspicuous pin holes in the image. Two printer's creases in the lower margin.) The verso with a few fox marks, particularly along the bottom edge, and with faint discoloration at the vertical edges, associated with prior hinging.
