The style of the present sheet is close to Perino's fluent use of the pen and ink, and if by the artist it should be a very early work, possibly when he first arrived in Rome around 1516-17, when Perino is still influenced by his Florentine training in the bottega of Ridolfo Ghirlandaio (1483-1561).
